An event entitled 'Completing the European Research Area in the Context of the Innovation Union - Boarding Time' will take place on 14 November 2012 Nicosia, Cyprus.
Within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency and along with the Planning Bureau of Cyprus, the Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation (RPF) invites all stakeholders to a one-day event featuring cross-cutting issues of the European Research Area (ERA).
Specific fields to be explored during the Conference include issues such as the effectiveness of national research systems, open labour market for researchers, research infrastructures, gender issues, knowledge transfer and open access issues, cross border cooperation and competition of research actors, international cooperation and the monitoring mechanism.
The conference aims to bring together ERA stakeholders such as research organisations, universities, private enterprises and public authorities. Together they will contribute to the policy measures and actions that must be implemented with a view to completing ERA by 2014.For further information, please visit:
