Second International Conference on Climate Change and Humanity, Rome, Italy
Over the last decades, clear scientific evidence indicated that human activities influence the global climate system. Data shows that Earth's surface temperature is rising at an increasing pace. This increase can be attributed, in part, to human-caused greenhouse gas emissions and which are negatively affecting physical and biological systems worldwide. Although they are not creating new or unknown health threats, it will amplify some environment-related health issues that currently exist.
The conference will aim to promote research and development activities related to climate change as well as encouraging cooperation between researchers, industry and other stakeholders. For further information, please visit: http://www.iccch.org/(opens in new window)
