An event entitled 'The Neurology of Emotions' will take place from 11 to 14 November 2012 in Stresa, Italy.
Perception and experience of emotion is vital for survival in the social environment. In recent years, there has been a growing interest from researchers towards the neurobiological basis of emotion perception in humans and primates. Most scientists now acknowledge that abnormalities in emotion perception may be associated with specific symptoms of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and affective disorders.
