The Ninth IMA International Conference on Mathematics in Signal Processing will take place from 17 to 20 December 2012 in Birmingham, UK.

Signal Processing incorporates theoretical and practical aspects of signal processing (analogue and digital). It constitutes an important area for the application of mathematical concepts and techniques fuelled, for example, by developments in mobile communications, multimedia systems and digital TV. The subject is advancing rapidly in areas such as non-linear/non-Gaussian/non-stationary signal processing, compressive sampling, digital communication systems, iterative estimation and many more.

The event will bring together mathematicians, statisticians and engineers with a view to exploring recent developments and identifying new venues for further research.For further information, please visit:
