The 'Ireland International Conference on Education' will be held from 15 to 17 April 2013 in Dublin, Ireland.

Although rarely attracting public interest, education is essential for every society and individual. It undoubtedly plays a complementary role for overall individual, social and national development. It enables an individual to realize his higher self and goal. It is know that the interdependence between education, research and innovation - often referred to as the knowledge triangle - is a key element of European innovation policy.

The conference will focus on the need to bring research and practice closer together, with a move towards more practitioner researchers in education.
