Sixth Iberian Conference on Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis, Madeira, Portugal
The ability to recognise humans and their activities through vision is key for a machine to interact intelligently and effortlessly with a human-inhabited environment. Since many applications dealing with image analysis and involving humans are being developed, 'looking at people' is currently one of the most active application domains in computer vision. One of the general goals of artificial intelligence resides in designing machines that act more intelligently or more like humans do.
The aim of this conference is to look for new theoretical results, techniques and main applications over any aspect of pattern recognition and image analysis. It will be a forum for research groups, engineers and practitioners to present recent results, algorithmic improvements and promising future directions in pattern recognition and image analysis. For further information, please visit
