The life sciences forum 'Biovision 2013: From Life Sciences to Sciences for Life' the will be held from 24 to 26 March 2013 in Lyon, France.

Life science is a spectrum of disciplines that involve the scientific study of living organisms such as plants, animals and human beings. While biology remains the main branch of life sciences, recent technological advances in molecular biology and biotechnology have led to a burgeoning of specializations and new, often interdisciplinary, fields. This year, BioVision will focus on various topics ranging from microorganisms to improved human capacities, sustainable use of natural resources, personalised medicine and lifestyle diseases.

The event aims to foster productive interactions and collaborations between all life sciences stakeholders, from academic and private sector to policy makers and civil society. It places special emphasis on solutions having a real impact on citizens.For further information, please visit:
