Active Communications International (ACI)'s Fifth Carbon Capture and Storage will be held from15 to 16 May 2013 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The technology of carbon capture and storage has significant potential as a mitigation technique for climate change, both within Europe and internationally. It is particularly true in those countries with large reserves of fossil fuels and a soaring energy demand. In the EU CO2 emissions avoided through carbon capture in 2030 could account for some 15% of the reductions required.
The event will be an opportunity for stakeholders from across the entire value chain (power production & energy intensive industry, capture technology, chemical process, transportation, storage, utilisation & EOR) to debate on carbon capture developments, innovations and networking opportunities.For further information, please visit:
