An event entitled 'Graphene Week 2013' will be held from 2 to 7 June 2013 in Chemnitz, Germany.
Graphene is a substance composed of pure carbon, with atoms arranged in a regular hexagonal pattern similar to graphite, but in a one-atom thick sheet. Graphene is already used in many items such as electrodes, solar cells, transistors, mobile devices and lithium-ion batteries.
