A conference entitled 'EURO-SME 2013' will be held from 11 to 12 June 2013 in Dublin, Ireland.
The conference will consider the role of SMEs in two key initiatives of the European Union. First, it will look into Europe 2020 and its foreseen smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive economy, where research and innovation are key. Then, it will focus on the Innovation Union which comprises the whole innovation chain from ideas to market and places particular emphasis on innovation and support measures for SMEs.
The conference is organised by Enterprise Ireland and is supported by the European Commission Directorate for Research and Innovation and its Industrial Technologies Programme. It is one of a series of events being held around the Irish Presidency of the EU.For further information, please visit:
