The 'Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Meeting' (Nano Ostrava 2013) will be held from 17 to 20 June 2013 in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Nanotechnolog strongly impacts a wide spectrum of disciplines such as engineering, biology, chemistry, computing, materials science, military applications, and many more. The major benefits of nanotechnology are numerous and include improved manufacturing methods, water purification systems, energy systems, physical enhancement, nanomedicine, better food production methods and nutrition, and large scale infrastructure auto-fabrication. It may also allow for automation of tasks which were previously inaccessible due to physical restrictions, which in turn may reduce labour, land, or maintenance requirements placed on human activities.

The conference will be a platform to facilitate open discussions between scientists, students and representatives from companies with a vested interest in furthering the development of nanomaterials and nanotechnology.For further information, please visit:
