Fourth World Congress on ADHD, Milan, Italy
Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental disorder which can be characterized by significant attention deficit, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. Affecting one in 20 children and adolescents, it is one of the most misunderstood psychiatric conditions in Europe, with many people still not receiving appropriate diagnosis and support.
In this context, the congress aims to increase the awareness and spread the knowledge on ADHD while allowing worldwide professionals to share experience. This year, hot topic sessions will include the effects and mechanisms of psychotherapy in the treatment of ADHD in children and adults, the costs and benefits of ADHD, and a session entitled 'Is psychostimulant treatment of ADHD harmful for the patient?'
The congress will also host the Young Scientist Award and an exhibition for companies to promote their scientific endeavours. For further information, please visit:
