The 'International Conference on Tissue Engineering' (ICTE 2013) will be held from 6 to 8 June 2013 in Leiria, Portugal.
Tissue engineering (TE) is a recent, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary field experiencing intense development in the past few years. It involves biology, engineering and material science methods by providing suitable biochemical and physiochemical factors towards the development of biological substitutes to restore, maintain, or improve tissue functions.
This conference is designed to be a major forum to discuss novel ideas and strategies for tissue engineering, as well the current state-of-the-art in the field. It will focus on a broad range of issues, including the fundamentals of tissue engineering; the modelling and characterisation of scaffolds for tissue engineering; the design and development of scaffolds for tissue engineering; cell signalling and computational bone mechanics.For further information, please visit:
