The 'International Symposium on Science Education' (ISSE 2013) will be held from 10 to 12 June 2013 in Helsinki, Finland. It will be focusing on 'Environment Global Challenges in Science Education'.

Science education is constantly undergoing major changes and developments, causing new approaches to science instruction to be needed. The environmental global challenges have been and will be among of the main topics in science education. The themes of the 2013 ISSE Symposium are climate change, energy and renewable natural resources, water and food.

This conference is designed to be a major forum for science teachers across all education levels to discuss novel ideas and strategies for sustainability in science. The symposium is based on plenary lectures, hands-on activities and discussion sessions.For further information, please visit:
