43rd Annual Meeting of the International Society of Psychoneuroendocrinology, Leiden, the Netherlands
The clinical study of hormone fluctuations and their relationship to human behaviour has paved the way for groundbreaking research in understanding and treating psychiatric illnesses and mood disorders. This conference aims to build on previous annual meetings with a special theme titled 'Stress, rhythm and blues,' in which a selection of clinicians, PhD students and psychiatrists will present their latest work.
The conference will provide both clinical and preclinical perspectives on the predictors and consequences of hormonal fluctuations and their relationships to behaviour and mood across the human life span. Participants will be invited to present the results of psychoneuroendocrinology-related research projects, either in the form of a symposium, workshop, oral presentation, or poster presentation sessions. Guest lecturers will present their findings in areas including the neurocircuitry of stress, circadian rhythms and neuroendocrine diseases in humans.
With an aim to attract and inspire future generations of scientists in the form of PhD students and post docs, the conference will play host to an international audience of researchers, clinicians and psychiatrists who will present their latest findings and establish contacts with international colleagues. For further information, please visit:
