The 'International Congress on Materials and Renewable Energy' (MRE 2013) will be held from 1 to 3 July 2013 in Athens, Greece.

Recent developments in the renewable energy sector have led to growing momentum for renewable alternatives such as hydrogen, biomass and photovoltaics. Research, development and deployment of new renewable power could lead to a reduction in costs while cutting greenhouse gas emissions. This conference aims to provide a platform for discussion on the future of sustainable energy.

Symposia topics and presentations will include advanced materials for energy conversion and storage, energy efficiency, emerging energy technologies, energy modelling and simulation. Further areas of dialogue will address the latest novel energy technologies.
