The 'International Conference on Physiological Computing Systems' (PhyCS 2014) will be held from 7 to 9 January 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Physiological computing is a multidisciplinary field involving contributions from psychology, neuroscience, engineering and computer science. These processing systems are creating new possibilities in the field of human-computer interaction through the collection of data that has led to the advancement of healthcare systems.

As an international meeting point for engineers, computer scientists and clinicians interested in exploring tech-based approaches to healthcare challenges, this conference aims to improve the use of technology in medical diagnosis. It will centre on areas including medical devices, human factors, technology applications, methodologies and hazards.

Participants will be offered the opportunity to attend thematic tutorials that intend to provide a platform for a more scientific exchange amongst researchers interested in a particular topic.
