The central challenge for the twenty-first century is to devise a new and broader understanding of what collective security means and how it can be achieved. The ultimate goal consists in tackling threats to our urban societies as we move in to a phase of technological and communal development.
With the constantly changing nature of our urban environments, this conference will examine how our responses to security and crime problems are adapting in line with the invention and adoption of new technologies and approaches.
