The 'Global Energy Systems Conference 2013' will be held from 26 to 28 June 2013 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The past two centuries have witnessed rapid economic and industrial growth powered by ever larger supplies of fossil fuel. However, there are global constraints in the supply of conventional fossil fuels - particularly oil - which have contributed to high energy prices.

This conference will provide the insights required by companies, organisations and investors increasingly coming under pressure from the changing energy landscape. With a particular focus on the future of energy prices, the event aims to examine fossil fuel technologies, the future of electricity systems and the economic policy of energy systems.
