The 14th Congress of the European Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism will be held from 8 to 11 September 2013 in Warsaw, Poland.
Alcohol related deaths and illnesses are on the rise across Europe, particularly among the young. Increased awareness of the risks associated with substance abuse has not curtailed this spiralling trend.
The aim of the meeting will be to learn about recent advances in basic research as well as clinical aspects of substance use, abuse and dependence. The agenda for the congress will show a multidisciplinary approach towards the problem of alcohol drinking, including neurobiological, psychosocial and therapeutic perspectives.For further information, please visit:
