The 'CIVITAS Forum Conference 2013' will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2013 in Brest, France.
In Europe today road transport is responsible for 40% of carbon dioxide emissions, while urban traffic is responsible for 70% of other pollutants in the environment. Launched in 2002, the CIVITAS network aims to redefine transport measures and policies in order to create cleaner and better transport in cities.
This conference will bring together members of the CIVITAS network, policy makers and urban planners to discuss transport measures and policies towards sustainable urban mobility.
The three-day event revolves around the theme 'Implementing sustainable urban mobility with less', as such workshops and tutorials aim to demonstrate best practice approaches to achieve sustainable mobility with limited means.For further information, please visit:
