The Second Bioeconomy Forum will be held from 30 September to 1 October 2013 in Brussels, Belgium. It will focus on the theme 'Global Challenges and the Bioeconomy - part of the solution or part of the problem? A Communication Case'.
CommNet, the EU-funded communication network for bioeconomy-related FP7-projects will open the Brussels bioeconomy week with aims to elaborate on the relevant communication issues.
The event will bring together bioeconomy stakeholders and high-level keynote speakers from across Europe to answer burning questions on issues including food security, plant genetics and maritime biotechnology. In a series of project-led sessions, CommNet research teams will present their communication strategies and success stories on how to effectively communicate research results.
As a platform to tell the story of European biotechnology, the week-long forum will feature a series of exhibitions, panel discussions with communications specialists, consumer groups and industry representatives.For further information, please visit:
