The 'CHAIN-REDS Workshop on e-Infrastructures for e-Sciences' will be held on 22 October 2013 in Beijing, China.
The EU-backed CHAIN-REDS project seeks to boost scientific and technological collaboration on an international scale in order to define a path towards a global e-Infrastructure ecosystem.
The team foresee a globalised e-network that will allow Virtual Research Communities (VRCs) and research groups to access and efficiently use worldwide distributed resources in the form of storage, data and applications.
This workshop is designed to present state-of-the-art cloud computing technologies in Europe and China. It will explore the existing initiatives of data infrastructures and discuss future collaborative opportunities in domains such as health, agriculture and climate.For further information, please visit:
