The 12th Eilat Conference on new Antiepileptic Drugs will be held from 31 August to 3 September 2014 in Madrid, Spain.

From young children to the elderly, epilepsy affects more than 6 million people in Europe. Studies suggest that if treated properly up to 70% of people with the condition could live productive and independent lives.

Attendees will gain an in-depth progress report on new antiepileptic drugs in various stages of development, as well as to present new findings on second-generation treatments.

The event will bring together health professionals, carers, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists and pharmacists to discuss areas of epilepsy research, highlighting problems, concerns and methods to overcome them, with a view to raising awareness and promoting epilepsy research.For further information, please visit:
