A conference entitled 'Coastal systems under change: tuning assessment and management tools' will be held from 12 to 16 May 2014 in Sesimbra, Portugal.
Environmental change is occurring at an unprecedented rate. However, knowledge on how climate and human activity affect biological and ecological processes in coastal areas is still limited.
This conference aims to elicit a better understanding of changes in ecosystem function and processes to contribute to more efficient management and conservation strategies.
