A workshop on 'Regulatory and environmental issues in shale gas exploration in the UK and Central & Eastern Europe' will be held on 4 March 2014 in London, UK.

With the rapid growth of the shale gas market in the US, the EU is increasingly looking at ways to develop the potential of this resource. But with varying national legislation the process of implementing shale gas extraction is fraught with difficulties.

This workshop will address these issues head on by identifying some of the practical obstacles facing the organisations looking to search for and produce shale gas in Europe. It will focus on issues specific to some the key markets, namely the UK and Central and Eastern Europe.For further information, please visit:
