Second International Conference on Research Infrastructures, Athens, Greece
It aims to highlight how global research infrastructures can respond to the most pressing global challenges facing us today. Recommendations on how to improve international cooperation, how to strengthen existing initiatives and how to develop a vision for open science, will all be considered during a number of plenary sessions. There will be several thematic sessions in parallel, which will look at the environment, cultural heritage, food security and e-infrastructures.
The conference is being co-organised by the European Commission and the Greek Presidency of the European Council, and is expected to attract 600 international participants. A competition and exhibition under the theme of "Research and Art" will accompany this event (ICRI), with a submission deadline of 28 February. For more information, please visit: http://www.icri2014.eu(opens in new window)
