The Fifth International Conference on Advances in Tourism Economics will be held from 15 to 16 May, 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal.
This edition of the biennial conference series will look to showcase the impact of academic research on tourism economics by addressing broad thematic ideas among academics, practitioners, students, teachers, policy-makers, private investors and the broader community. With papers for submission of both a theoretical and empirical nature being welcomed, the event aims to provide a better understanding of the tourism market worldwide.
Taking place over three days, it is being jointly organised between the Portuguese Association for Tourism Research and Development (APIDT) and the Tourism Research Centre of Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa.
