The Technology Transfer Days programme is a cost-effective SPRINT initiative to establish technological cooperation between companies in different Member States. A relatively small number of carefully selected firms in a particular region, seeking partners in other countries, are brought together for one or two days for face-to-face interviews with technology brokers from other regions. The brokers are previously informed concerning the selected companies and have investigated potential matching opportunities. 24 such events are planned in European cities over a period of two years. The first took place on 4-5 June 1991 in Ghent, Belgium and involved 65 innovative, technologically based firms and 25 brokers from eight European countries.For full information, including a programme of the future events, contact:
