The 'SMARTRAIL final conference' will take place on 25 and 26 August in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Over the past three years, the FP7-funded SMARTRAIL project has brought together experts in the areas of highway and railway infrastructure research, SMEs and railway authorities who are responsible for the safety of national infrastructure. The team has been working towards reducing replacement costs and delays, and providing environmentally friendly maintenance solutions for ageing infrastructure networks. Hosted by project partner ZAG, the final conference will present the practical solutions and guidelines for implementation arising from research activities carried out by SMARTRAIL.
Registration is free. Additional activities for participants include tourist activities on 23 August and a site visit on 26 August. A special accommodation rate is available until 25 July.For more information, please visit:
