‘Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) 2 Open Info Day 2014’, Brussels, Belgium
The event will provide information related to the call for proposals launched in July 2014 and is aimed at SMEs, mid-cap businesses, patient organisations, regulatory authorities, academic teams, industry, hospitals and other organisations. The call covers translational approaches to disease modifying therapy of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, and discovery and validation of novel endpoints in dry age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is Europe's largest public-private initiative aiming to speed up the development of better and safer medicines for patients. It supports collaborative research projects and builds networks of industrial and academic experts in order to boost pharmaceutical innovation in Europe. IMI is a joint undertaking between the EU and the pharmaceutical industry association EFPIA.
