Health Telematics '95: Health in the information society

A conference on "Health Telematics '95" will take place in Ischia, Italy, on 2-6 July 1995.
The theme of the conference will be "Health in the information society". It will look at research and development in the area of health telematics, and in particular the implications for health and medical applications in the emerging information society. The following topics will be discussed:
- Primary care and home care;
- Telemedicine;
- Hospital information systems;
- Local, national, transnational health care telematics: networks and services.
There will be a Commission stand at the conference on the Telematics Applications programme of the Fourth Framework Programme, with particular reference to the health telematics area of the programme.
