NTTS '95: International Conference on New Techniques and Technology for Statistics

The Statistical Office of the European Community is organizing an International Conference on New Techniques and Technology for Statistics, NTTS '95, in the framework of its DOSIS programme for research and development in the field of statistics. It will take place in Bonn, Germany, on 19-22 November 1995.

The aim of NTTS '95 is to provide a forum for researchers and statisticians to present and discuss new ideas and developments in the application of information and communication technologies for statistics.

The main topics of interest will include:

- Survey design and data capture;
- Data analysis and knowledge extraction;
- Dissemination of results and knowledge.

The conference will bring together researchers and users of these techniques, including those working on Fourth Framework Programme R&D projects, to share experiences, knowledge and enthusiasm in both formal and informal environments.

In addition, the conference will include demonstrations of software products and prototypes.
