The 25th annual meeting of the European Environmental Mutagen Society will take place in Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, on 18-23 June 1995. It is being organized with the support of DG XII of the European Commission, within the framework of its Environment programme.

The European Environmental Mutagen Society (EEMS) was founded 25 years ago and focuses on the research on the mutagenic and carcinogenic effects of chemical and physical agents in man and other organisms.

The meeting will cover the following areas:

- Molecular nature of spontaneous and induced mutations in vivo;
- Sequence specific DNA damage and repair;
- Biomonitoring (environmental, occupational, chemical and radiation exposures, molecular epidemiology);
- Genetic and cancer risk estimates;
- In vitro and in vivo cytogenetics;
- Transgenic mice systems;
- Antimutagens;
- Transgenerational carcinogenesis;
- Eco-genotoxicology.
