THERMIE seminar on energy from biomass and waste

In the framework of the THERMIE programme for efficient energy technologies, a seminar on "Energy from biomass and waste" will take place in Valladolid, Spain, on 17-19 May 1995.

Six sessions will take place on the following:

- Biomass programmes and promotional criteria;
- Social and environmental aspects;
- Technical, economic and legislative aspects: barriers and recommendations;
- Experiences in energy plantations;
- Experiences in biofuels for engines;
- Experiences in the exploitation of forestal and agricultural waste.
