The Seventh World Telecommunication Exhibition, Forum and Book Fair, TELECOM '95, will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 3-11 October 1995. It is being organized by the International Telecommunication Union (TELECOM).

The purpose of TELECOM '95 is to present the latest developments in telecommunications technology, and to enable telecommunications specialists and members of the industry to publicize their activities.

The following sectors will be represented at the exhibition:

- Electrical and electronic engineering;
- Research, development and design;
- Data systems and computer operations;
- Transport and communications;
- Insurance, banking, finance and business services;
- Wholesale/retail distribution;
- Professional and scientific services.

A forum and book fair will also take place during TELECOM '95.

Forum '95 will provide an open dialogue between the traditional and new players in the information technology revolution. It will comprise two summits:

- The Strategies Summit: 3-11 October;
- The Technology Summit: 3-11 October.

Book Fair '95 will present the latest publications in the field of telecommunications literature. Publishers of traditional literature, as well as of every variety of electronic media, will be represented.

CORDIS will be featured at TELECOM '95. The CORDIS team will demonstrate the online CORDIS services, the CD-ROM and the Watch-CORDIS interface to the online service.For further information on TELECOM '95, please contact:
