A German National Launching Conference for the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme will take place in Berlin, Germany, on 22-23 May 1995. It is being organized by the Federal Ministry for Science, Education, Research and Technology and co-financed by DG XXII of the European Commission.

The conference will be attended by Mrs. Edith Cresson, Commissioner responsible for science, research and development, and education and training. It will present the objectives and content of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme and its role as a new perspective for cooperation in vocational training in Europe.

Three workshops will take place in parallel with the conference:

- Initial vocational training;
- Continuing vocational training;
- Cooperation between universities and enterprises.

A series of regional seminars on LEONARDO DA VINCI will also be held after the conference. For more details, please contact the address below.
