Fifth STRIDE conference on "Managing science and technology in the regions"

The fifth STRIDE conference on "Managing science and technology in the regions" will take place in Belgium on 8-10 June 1995. It is organized by RIDER-UCL, with support from DG XII of the European Commission. The dates and locations of the conference are as follows:

- 8 June 1995: Brussels;
- 9 June 1995: Charleroi;
- 10 June 1995: Brussels.

The STRIDE programme is a Community initiative concerning regional capacities for research, technology and innovation. Conference topics will include:

- Local scientific and technological potential and the benefit of inter-regional cooperation;
- Management of technology in firms;
- A global perspective on regional RTD policies;
- Universities as actors in the technological development of regions.
