ESF European Research Conferences in 1995

European Research Conferences are run by the European Science Foundation (ESF), in association with several learned societies, and with funding from the Community's Human Capital and Mobility programme. They are co-sponsored by the Euroconferences activity of the European Union.
Each conference consists of a series of meetings, normally held every other year. There are neither written contributions nor proceedings. Unconventional ideas and new approaches, not yet fully explored, are encouraged.
The number of participants will be limited to about 100. Some grants will be available for younger scientists, in particular those from less-favoured regions in Europe. Some conferences will also have limited funding for participants from Eastern and Central Europe.
