THERMIE seminar on "Energy efficiency in hospitals"

A seminar on "Energy efficiency in hospitals" will take place within the framework of the THERMIE programme for energy efficient technologies on 29 November to 1 December 1995 in Santander, Spain.
The aim of the seminar is to present and discuss the utilization of efficient energy technologies in the design of new and existing hospitals.
The key topics of the seminar are:
- The hospital as energy consumer centre;
- New technologies and techniques to reduce the exploitation expenses.
A technical visit to the cogeneration installation and thermal plant of the University Hospital Marques de Valdecilla (Santander) will also be organized.
