Informative and Training Conference on Renewable Energies for Trade Unions and Ecological Groups

An Informative and Training Conference on Renewable Energies for Trade Unions and Ecological Groups will take place in Madrid on 18-20 October 1995. It is organized by the Spanish Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), within the framework of the ALTENER programme for the promotion of renewable energy sources in the Community (1993-1997).

The conference topics will include:

- Energy efficiency in industry: Environment, modernization and technology;
- The environment and economic importance of renewable energies;
- Renewable energies and employment creation;
- Analysis and perspectives of the Spanish energy saving and efficiency plan;
- Small-hydro energy;
