Energy labelling of buildings in southern European countries

A seminar entitled "Energy labelling of buildings in southern European countries" will take place in Seville, Spain on 7-8 September 1995.
The event is being organized within the context of the THERMIE programme of the European Commission and will examine the application of norms for energy saving in buildings, as set out in EC Directive SAVE 93/76, and the implications the energy labelling of buildings for southern European countries.
The objectives of the seminar are to:
- Provide a meeting ground for the different sectors involved in the definition and application of norms for the energy labelling of buildings;
- Highlight the different criteria which should be taken into account in the elaboration of norms for the energy labelling of buildings in southern European countries;
- Inform professionals involved in the building sector about the characteristics and practical consequences of the energy labelling of buildings.
The seminar is aimed at all those involved in the sector, including: architects; engineers; estate agents and promoters; construction companies; manufacturers of construction materials and equipment; and local authorities.
