European Telecommunications: Strategies for success in the 21st century

Mr. Michel Carpentier, Director-General of DG XIII of the European Commission, will deliver an address entitled "To liberalize and beyond" at a conference on "European Telecommunications: Strategies for success in the 21st century". The conference, organized by the Financial Times, will take place, in London, on 11-12 September 1995.

The aim of the conference is to examine the likely impact of the liberalization and privatization of the telecommunications sector in Europe and define possible strategies for succeeding in this new environment.
