A conference entitled "New Technologies and Technologies for Statistics" (NTTS '95), organized by the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) and the German National Research Centre for Computer Science (GMD), will take place in Bonn, Germany, on 19-22 November 1995.
The conference will examine the impact of new information and communication technologies (ICT) on statistics and will provide a forum for researchers and statisticians to present and discuss new ideas and developments in the application of these technologies.
The event will cover the following topics:
- Survey design and data capture;
- Data analysis and knowledge extraction;
- Dissemination of results and knowledge;
- Presentation formats.
