Symposium on EU R&D contracts '95 - UK

A symposium entitled "EU R&D contracts '95" will take place in London on 18 September 1995. The event is being organized by Cranfield University in association with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, the R&D society and the Department of Trade and Industry of the United Kingdom.

The symposium will cover proposal preparation for all the specific programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme. It will include parallel sessions which are designed to help researchers who are intending to apply for funds for the first time as well as for those who already have experience of EU contracts.

The symposium will include the following sessions:

- Preparing an exploitation plan to meet Commission requirements;
- Making an application;
- Technical coordination of large integrated projects;
- Advice on evaluation;
- New model contract.

There will also be a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and a workshop on finding partners.
