The European Science Foundation is organizing a conference on "Mathematical and numerical models for the simulation of turbulent and reactive flows". This will take place in Strasbourg, France, on 16-21 February 1996.

The aim of the conference is to bring together mathematicians, physicists and engineers to discuss on the following items:

- Modelling the physics of turbulent and reactive flows;
- Mathematical analysis of the associated partial differential equations;
- Simulation by numerical methods;
- Applications to real-life problems.

The conference is supported by the European Commission under the Human Capital and Mobility programme of the Community's Third Framework Programme for research and technoloical development 1990-1994 (now the Training and Mobility of Researchers programme). Some grants will be available, under this programme, for younger scientists, in particular those from less-favoured regions in the European Union.
