An international conference entitled "Economic Development by Innovation" will take place in Magedburg, Germany, on 12-13 October 1995. The event is being organized by the Regions Europeennes de Technologie Industrielle (RETI) and the Ministry of Economy and Technology of Sachsen-Anhalt with the support of the European Commission.
The conference will comprise four workshops focusing on RTD related experiences of selected RETI regional priorities addressed in national and supra-national RYTD initiatives, on financial issues as well as on participants' experience in the specific programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998).
The event will also examine the relationship between the Fourth Framework Programme and the Community Support Framework (CSF) in order to demonstrate the correlation between the EU's regional and science policy.
