The Institute of European Trade and Technology (IETT) is organizing, in collaboration with the UK Department of Trade and Industry, two briefing seminars on scientific cooperation with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The seminars will be held in Manchester, on 5 October 1995, and in London, on 6 October 1995.
The aim of the seminars is provide information and guidance on the first call for proposals for scientific cooperation with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, issued under the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of cooperation with third countries and international organizations, 1994-1998 (INCO). They will also give an overview of the other European and bilateral schemes promoting East-West collaboration in science and technology.
