Seventh Joint European Networking Conference

The seventh Joint European Networking Conference (JENC7) will take place in Budapest, Hungary, on 13-16 May 1996. The conference is being organized, this year, by the Trans European Research and Education networking Association (TERENA) in collaboration with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Hungarian Academic and Research Networking Association (HUNGARNET).

As in previous years, the aim of the Joint European Networking Conference is to bring together individuals, from research and education, industry and government, who are involved with planning, developing, implementing, managing, funding and using national, regional, and international computer networks. During the four-day meeting, state of the art networking issues will be presented, discussed and demonstrated. An exhibition area will also be available for international and Hungarian companies and institutions to demonstrate their products and services.

The organizers are currently calling for the submission of papers in the following suggested areas (non-exclusive list):

- User support and education;
- Policy, economic and societal issues;
- Network engineering;
- Network technology;
- Application technology;
- Infrastructure developments;
- Networking services.

All papers must be written in English and should be between 2,000 and 4,000 words. Each paper should contain a 200 word abstract, two to five keywords and the full name(s) and address(es) of the author(s).
