The fifth international conference on ""Perspectives on Protein Engineering - from Folds to Functions"" will take place in Montpellier, France, on 2-6 March 1996.
The conference will focus on protein structure-function relationships in biocatalysis and nucleic acid interactions. Structural biologists funded by BIOMED I under the Third Framework Programme (1990-1994) will take part in the conference.
Conference topics will include the following:
- Molecular bioinformatics;
- Protein design and folding;
- Enzyme structure and engineering;
- Lipases;
- Carbohydrate active enzymes;
- Redox proteins;
- Protein recognition of DNA and RNA.
